More Summer Activities in Madison

This time of year, there is SO much to do for fun -- especially outdoors! Here's a short round-up of some upcoming summer activities in Madison that you'll definitely want to check out:

7.2-4.14: Monona Community Festival, Winnequah Park. From live music to good food to an art fair and more! Enjoy three days of community extravaganza.

7.3-6.14: Catfish River Music Festival, Stoughton Opera House. Amazing live music on multiple stages -- just a hop, skip, and jump down the road in Stoughton.

7.10-13.14: La Fete de Marquette, Madison Central Park. If you've never been to this annual Bastille Day celebration, mark your calendars now. One of the best summer events on the near-east side!

7.12-13.14: Art Fair on the Square, Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. An annual favorite! And a great way to get a jump-start on holiday gifts (if you can bring yourself to even think about December right now.)

7.14.14: Star-Gazing with UW Space Place, Garner Park. This very cool quarterly program is one of the many fun and unique events offered up by the Madison Parks Department.

7.16-20.14: Dane County Fair, Alliant Energy Center. Because your inner child still loves funnel cake and cotton candy!

7.20.14: Wild Warner Walk, Warner Park. Warner Park is more than just ball fields! Explore the wild side of Warner, with expert guides from Wild Warner and Madison Audubon.

7.26.14: Atwood SummerFest, 2000-2100 blocks of Atwood Ave. Music, crafts, family activities -- this laid-back summer festival is the perfect way to celebrate "summer".
