Ideas for Easy DIY Fall Decorations?

Dear Roost,

I need your help! My in-laws are coming for a visit next month (our first company in our new house!!). They should be getting here just when the leaves are changing, and I'd like to put up some seasonal decorations in honor of fall. Everything I see at the stores isn't really my style, so I decided to try to make something myself. Except, I have ZERO crafting experience. Can you help? Are there any DIY fall decorations that don't require expert skills or expensive supplies? I'd love something for our front door, our fireplace mantel, and maybe even the dining room table. Any ideas?? Thank you in advance!
